Meet the Team

Our team consists of well qualified and passionate childcare professionals.
We pride ourselves on only recruiting those people that share our vision for child-centred, community minded care.

  • TOM

    NURSERY DIRECTOR

Hi, my name is Tom. My background is in education, having previously been a teacher for 15 years.  I am loving the unique challenges of my switch to Early Years! I passionately believe in the importance of a good start in life.

I try to spend as much of my time outside of work playing with my children, and just generally being outdoors!

  • KATIE

    NURSERY MANAGER

Hi, my name is Katie. I have been working in childcare for 9 years.  I enjoy being a part of the child’s first steps into education, and teaching them early life skills.

Outside of work I enjoy spending time with my friends and family, and of course, my dog Penny; who has settled in to the role of nursery dog!

  • HANNAH

    DEPUTY MANAGER

Hi, my name is Hannah, and I love working at the Bridge Nursery! I have worked with children for 12 years now, and loved every minute!

I enjoy spending my spare time making memories with my little boy, and walking our dog.

  • JESS

Hi, my name is Jess. I joined The Bridge Nursery when it opened in April 2024.

I have worked in childcare for 12 years, starting out as a Primary School Teacher before moving into Early Years.

In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my friends and family, and also walking my dog, Ralph.

  • JACKY

Hi, my name is Jacky. I joined the team at The Bridge Nursery in April, and I love my role as a Nursery Practitioner. I have 2 grown up children.  I have previously worked in schools, been a childminder, and volunteered as Tawny Owl in Girl Guides.

In my spare time I enjoy socialising with family and friends, baking, hiking (with Harry my dog), cycling, and singing in the choir.
